Equal Housing Opportunity

Pine River Place Apartments

The Charlevoix Housing Commission operates Pine River Place Apartments in beautiful Charlevoix, Michigan. We offer affordable housing for qualified applicants. We are a mixed population, low income housing complex.

We show a preference to the elderly (age 62 and older) and disabled persons. Pine River Place is a three story brick building with an elevator. We are an independent living community and do not offer assisted living services. We have an emergency call-to-aid system that is monitored 24-hours by a professional monitoring company.

Information for Residents

Included in the monthly rent payment are:

  • Heat (hot water baseboard)
  • Sewer
  • Trash collection
  • Water

The resident pays for their telephone and electric bill and receives a deduction in rent towards the electric bill. We offer an option of Expanded Basic cable television. There is a laundry facility with washers and dryers available for residents to use that are available at a low cost and open 24-hours a day.
