Stay Safe to Stay Open

While confirmed cases have remained relatively low in Charlevoix County, our work is not yet finished. Our community stands together to do all that we can to keep our numbers low so that our businesses can remain open for the short and long terms. To assist you in joining us in this effort, we have implemented some things to make it easier for everyone:

  • Hand sanitizing stations throughout town
  • Signage to remind you to socially distance and wear your mask
  • Increased cleaning/sanitation of public restroom facilities
  • Expanded space outside of outdoor dining spaces to allow for adequate social distancing
  • Additional picnic tables in East Park and Bridge Park to accommodate groups who prefer ordering take-out
  • Increased safety precautions during special events including the Charlevoix Farmers Market and Live on the Lake Summer Concerts.

Additionally, you’ll find hand sanitizer and disposable masks just inside the doors of many of our small businesses. Still not comfortable shopping or dining in a traditional way? Consider ordering take-out from your favorite restaurants or shopping virtually or online at your favorite store.
